Ryan wanted a Jake and the Neverland Pirates cake for his 5th birthday.
A sad reality for me, I had NO idea who Jake and the pirates were - we've moved past the Disney channel at our house. Ryan's mom sent me a picture of the show's logo, which I enlarged to cut templates of all the fondant work. Then the fun began: Got to break out the new airbrush and play. Lesson learned: make sure all the excess powdered sugar is off the fondant before you airbrush. The airbrush colors colored the sugar, but as it dusted off, off came the color too. Hope you had as much fun on your birthday as I did, Ryan!
