A couple of weeks ago I sent some left-over "death-by-chocolate" cupcakes over to a friend. She sent me some adorable pictures of her kids eating the cupcakes and licking the plate.
They wanted to know if I could do "death by chocolate" as a cake.
This one is 3 layers of chocolate fudge cake, filled with chocolate ganache, and chocolate fudge frosting with dark and milk chocolate curls, and a milk chocolate mosaic border.
You'd definitely need a glass of cold milk to finish a slice of this off!
I invented a new technique for creating the chocolate curls that I'll share sometime soon. Genius.
